The following article will assist in troubleshooting any app related issues.

1. Is the device configured correctly?

For the app to function correctly, the device needs to know its current location, and access the internet. To ensure the device is configured correctly, follow the steps below:

Android

Check for data connectivity

  1. Navigate to the phone's "Settings" page

  2. Select "Data usage"

  3. Ensure the "Mobile data" option is enabled

  4. Test for data connectivity and access this link

Check for location access

  1. Navigate to the phone's "Settings" page

  2. Select "Location"

  3. Ensure the "Location" option is enabled

  4. Navigate to a Maps app (e.g. Google Maps) and ensure that a live location is shown on the app

iOS

Check for data connectivity

  1. Navigate to the iPhone's "Settings" page

  2. Select "Mobile"

  3. Ensure the "Mobile Data" option is enabled

  4. Test for data connectivity and access this link

Check for location access

  1. Navigate to the iPhone's "Settings" page

  2. Select "Privacy"

  3. Select "Location services"

  4. Ensure the "Location Services" option is enabled

  5. Navigate to a Maps app (e.g. Apple Maps) and ensure that a live location is shown on the app

2. Have appropriate app permissions been set?

For the app to function correctly, it requires access to the phone's location and mobile data. To check if the correct app permissions have been set, follow the steps below:

Android

  1. From the tab bar in the NowGo app, select "MORE"

  2. Select "Settings"

  3. Select "Permissions", which will take you to the apps information page

  4. Select "Permissions" again

  5. Ensure "Location" access is enabled

iOS

  1. From the tab bar in the NowGo app, select "MORE"

  2. Select "Settings"

  3. Select "Permissions"

  4. Ensure "Location" access is set to "While Using the App" or "Always".

  5. Ensure "Mobile Data" is enabled.

3. Has the app been restarted recently?

Android

  1. Open the Android window manager

  2. Close NowGo app

  3. Re-open the NowGo app

iOS

  1. Open iOS window manager

  2. Close NowGo app

  3. Re-open the NowGo app

4. Clear NowGo Data / Reinstall App

Android

  1. Navigate to Android Settings

  2. Go to Apps > NowGo > Storage

  3. Tap 'Clear Data' button

iOS

  1. Uninstall NowGo app

  2. Reinstall NowGo app from App store

5. Issue not resolved?

  4. Device name and model (can be found in NowGo app under More > Diagnostics)
